The terms "builder" and "developer" are used to refer to two very different types of people. Though there is some overlap in their duties and responsibilities, the main difference between the two lies in how they are compensated for the work they do.

Developers:

 Developers perform a variety of tasks in the building process. They secure and prepare a plot of land for construction, design a plan for the property, secure financing for construction, oversee building phases and hire and manage subcontractors to develop the property. They sell lots or buildings to builders or other developers, who then perform further development on them as needed.

Builders:

Builders purchase properties from, builders and developers in Karachi and then build upon them according to plans purchased from architects or created by in-house designers. The builder is responsible for all aspects of construction; this includes selecting contractors, managing projects, and hiring workers.

 Builders also manage renovations for existing structures that might be created by developers or existing owners. Though the terms "builder" and "developer" are sometimes used interchangeably, there is a difference between the two.

 A builder takes on a smaller role in the construction of a home or apartment but does not develop it. Instead, a builder purchases land and hires subcontractors for the actual development of the home. For example, say you want to build your own little bungalow in a nice neighborhood—you could be the builder if you purchase an empty lot from a developer and hire someone else to handle the building of your house. The developer, on the other hand, manages all aspects of the construction process—from purchasing land to hiring subcontractors to receive permits to overseeing actual construction. 

If you're looking to buy or sell real estate that has already been completed and is just waiting for people like you to move in, then you're dealing with a developer. Like many people, you probably think that a builder and a developer are pretty much the same things. They both build houses, after all, so no one could blame you for making the assumption. 

However, while they're certainly related, they're not the same thing. The difference between a builder and a developer is pretty subtle, but it's an important distinction to make because of the way it affects you and your community. The main difference between a builder and a developer is that a developer actually owns the land where the home is being built. 250 square yards house plan but doesn't own any of it himself.

 A builder has to buy the land from someone else before he can start building on it, which means that his profit margin is directly affected by how much he pays for it in the first place—the more expensive that land is, the harder he'll have to work to make back his investment in terms of profits per house. So builders are always interested in purchasing land as inexpensively as possible, whereas developers will want to charge as much as they possibly can because they have to recoup those costs somehow before they move on to their next project.

Builders and developers are both parts of the industry that helps with the building of homes, but they have very different roles in the project. The role of a builder is to supervise the construction of a house or other building that is being built for someone else. They are responsible for overseeing all the contractors and workers who will be involved in the project. They also do some, but not all, of the actual construction themselves. There are two main types: residential and commercial builders. Residential builders build individual homes or condos. Commercial builders construct everything from office buildings to factories to warehouses.
